ARAMARK Parks and Destinations’ Service Philosophy

At ARAMARK Parks and Destinations, we know that the satisfaction of our guests comes down to the connections we create and the efforts we make. Those connections can be as small as a smile or a thank you — but when the effort is there, the guests notice and their experience is better. All of these pieces form our guest service philosophy, and that philosophy has always been a vital part of the ARAMARK Parks and Destinations culture.

In order to best service our guests, we created FOCUS on Service. FOCUS is our guest service platform, and also the acronym for our universal service standards. These standards guide every move we make and every guest interaction we have. FOCUS is a continuous improvement process designed to provide a framework for delivering outstanding service through the following components:

  • The universal service standards — Our five Universal Service Standards make up the FOCUS acronym. These standards touch on five key areas we believe have the most significant influence on our guests’ experience. They represent standards that can be consistently applied across all of our locations, and can be easily measured.
  • FOCUS Trainers and Champions — People on the ground day-to-day helping our employees understand and learn the importance of guest service.
  • Measurement of service levels through our My Guest Experience program.
  • Rewards and Recognition
